      <image:title>Work - Food for Hope</image:title>
<image:caption>By Jeff Gottesfeld Illustrated by Michelle Laurentia Agatha John van Hengel started the world's first food bank in 1967 and went on to create a network of food banks through Feeding America. The concept of getting food that would otherwise be wasted to people who are hungry has spread throughout the world. Gottesfeld's warm text and Agatha's lively art shows that there's no shame in being hungry — the shame lies in how long it took for someone to figure out how to feed people! All it took was one person with a good idea to change things. Creston Books Lerner Books</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - Michelle Agatha</image:title>
<image:caption>I’m Michelle Agatha, currently working as a children’s book illustrator/designer at Room to Read San Francisco. I’m also working as a freelance UX designer and concept artist. My parents told me that ever since I was a little kid, I always love drawing. I read lots of picture books and watched tons of animated films - which eventually inspired me to become an artist. I moved from Jakarta, Indonesia to San Francisco. I studied visual development at the Academy of Art University. I always believe that there is no such thing as a completed artwork. Wether I gain more knowledge from taking classes or get critiques and feedback from other people, there’s always room for improvement.</image:caption>
